Jürgen Klopp has praised reserve goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher saying Liverpool would never have been able to reach the treble without him.

Kelleher is set to make his 24th appearance of the season. Against Sheffield United matching the number of appearances Alisson Becker has made this season UFABET 

Alisson, who was hailed by many as Liverpool’s Player of the Year. Before he suffered a hamstring injury in early February. Currently, the Brazilian goalkeeper is rehabilitating his body and hopes to be able to practice again next week.

Liverpool’s much-anticipated chances may have been hampered without Alisson in goal. But Kelleher has stepped up in outstanding form.

“I’m never shy about praising ‘Queef’ but these lads performed well when the opportunity presented itself.” Klopp said.

“You hope that’s the case for players like Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez who play on the left. But you can’t expect it. I never wondered about them. But it was amazing to see them like this.”

“I will say that without Caoimhin Kelleher there is no chance we would be in this position. Not a chance. Ali is with the goalkeeper coach. So when I see them through the fence (at work) it looks good too.”
