Roma have reportedly made contact with Gian Piero Gasperini after being named as the favourite to take over as manager at the end of the season.

They currently have Claudio Ranieri as caretaker manager until the end of the season, after which he will move into management.
One of Ranieri’s responsibilities will be to find a permanent manager for the Giallorossi for the start of next season. Gasperini
‘s contract with Atalanta is due to expire this summer and he has hinted that he will not renew his contract.
Ranieri is currently serving as interim head coach of the Giallorossi until the end of the 2024-25 season, at which point he will step into a directorship role at the Stadio Olimpico. Part of his initial responsibilities is identifying a new long-term head coach to take over ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
